If you are anything like me, you are constantly sent the latest must-see clip from YouTube or one of the other several online video sites. Be it an animal doing something ridiculously cute or some goof doing another idiotic stunt sure to land him in the hospital, it is in our human nature to want to see the latest trends and experience the latest ‘news’ story. I use the term news loosely as most of these headliners are often found among our dearest friend’s Facebook status updates – hardly a credible journalism source.

Okay, except for Adam, as he only has extremely enlightened things to say. I jest of course; we all love your updates Adam!

Today I happened to be catching up on one of my favorite websites, www.uncrate.com; and they have graciously steered me towards the most recently bookmarked website, Devour.com.

If you aren’t familiar, I’m about to blow your mind (or simply give you the perfect mechanism to help maximize your procrastination effectiveness). Devour.com scans several Internet sites pulling together the highest ranked, most viewed and most popular online viral videos and compiles them into one user-friendly interface. Let’s be honest, no one has time to actually watch the latest kid winning big on the price is right (you really need to check it out) or hunt for five-minute clip of one person completing and beating the original Mario Brothers in less that five minutes (okay, you need to watch that one too). Devour.com takes the effort out of finding the latest and greatest time waster videos. What’s not to like?

In a world where over 20 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube every minute, meaning you would need to spend approximately 1700 years to get through the millions of videos currently on the site (also meaning no new videos would be added from that starting point), we can all benefit from a filter of awesomeness.

Thankfully, Devour.com has granted your wish. You were wishing for this, no?
