Demi Moore Books Recurring Role On ‘Empire’

Demi Moore hasn’t had a regular television gig since her breakout role on General Hospital in the ’80s. It’s all been movies since then, along with a couple of TV guest spots mixed in. Remember Will & Grace? After all these years, she’s returning to her small screen roots.

Watch out Cookie and Lucious Lyon!!! You’re about to encounter a major bad-ass chick. The 54-year-old actress booked a recurring gig on Empire. She’ll play a “take-charge nurse with a mysterious past who will become ever more treacherously entangled with the Lyon family,” according to Deadline. Her character will first appear in the Season 3 finale and continue into the fourth season.

Moore is just the latest notable name to guest star on the hip-hop drama. This year alone, the likes of Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Mariah Carey, Phylicia Rashad and her own daughter Rumer Willis have all appeared. Eva Longoria will also pop up when Empire returns on Wednesday, March 22.

Excited to see Moore mixing it up with Taraji P. Henson and company? Here’s hoping for a Dynasty-like brawl between the two powerhouses. Weigh in below.
