Apparently the thing for pop stars to do in 2017 is to star in a documentary. Following on the heels off Lady Gaga, Pink and Katy Perry, comes Demi Lovato with her very own YouTube special. The 25-year-old singer opens up about her personal and professional struggles in Simply Complicated out October 17.
“One thing I’ll never stop doing is being honest,” she reveals. “I am on a journey to discover what it is like to be free of all demons. When I am comfortable in my own skin I feel confident. When I feel confident I feel sexy. When I feel sexy, watch out,” Lovato confidently declares in the clip.
Among the topics she talks about in the promo are her nearly 5 and a half years of sobriety, past drug abuse and bout with an eating disorder. It looks like the documentary even covers that infamous incident back in 2010 when Demi punched a backup dancer. Immediately after that altercation, the “Sorry Not Sorry” hitmaker checked into rehab.
