Last year Snoop Dogg, Jenny McCarthy, Neil Patrick Harris, Chris Daughtry and Heidi Klum showed off their wheel spinning prowess on the first annual Price Is Right celebrity week. Clearly, last year was a ratings hit because the veteran game show is doing it again for February sweeps. “Skyscraper” singer Demi Lovato was one of the celebrities asked to “come on down” for the second annual event airing Monday, February 18 to Friday, February 22.
Like last year, the stars will play alongside regular contestants, helping them as they try to reach the Showcase Showdown. Each star also gets to walk in the shoes of a Price is Right model. They’ll get to present unique showcases featuring their personal favorite prizes. The celebrities will also spin the famous big wheel, and play six of the CBS’ show’s most popular games. Reportedly, this year’s group raised more than $250,000 for their various charities. One of them even broke Snoop Dogg’s record of $72,585 which he raised for the Snoop Youth Football League last year. Find out this year’s participants along with their respective charities below.
The Price Is Right 2013 Celebrity Line Up
- Monday, Feb. 18: Nick Lachey and Drew Lachey play for Camp Joy
- Tuesday, Feb. 19: NeNe Leakes plays for Saving Our Daughters
- Wednesday, Feb. 20: Sharon Osbourne plays for The Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Program
- Thursday, Feb. 21: Charles Barkley plays for The Mustard Seed School
- Friday, Feb. 22: Demi Lovato plays for Free the Children
Who do you think will beat Snoop Dogg’s record? My money is NeNe Leakes. After all, she is a “real housewife.” LOL. Speaking of the Bravo-lebrity, she’s certainly parlayed her reality stint to become a bona fide star. Somewhere out there her nemeses Kim Zolciak and Sheree Whitfield are dying of jealousy. Sound off below.
