It’s no secret that Demi Lovato has her demons. She’s been very open about battling addiction, her eating disorder, mental illness, self-harm and more. The “Sorry Not Sorry” hitmaker finds herself battling one of her biggest issues once again.
Three months ago, Demi celebrated her six years of sobriety. It appears she’s fallen off the wagon. The 25-year-old confesses to relapsing on her new single “Sober.”
“Mama I’m so sorry I’m not sober anymore. Daddy please forgive for the drinks spilled on the floor,” Demi sings on the emotional track. “To the ones who never left me we’ve been down this road before. I’m so sorry, I’m not sober anymore”
If “Sober” is just a taste of what Lovato is cooking up, her next album could be her most personal and emotional offering yet. Check it out below. It’s powerful.
