You would think Matt Bomer’s upcoming guest appearance on “Glee” is like the second coming of Jesus, considering the number of posts we write about it. He does have that silky dark hair though. LOL. To be fair, it’s just not Bomer I’m excited about, but the fact we get eight straight new episodes of the Fox musical when it returns. Plus, like most of you, I’m curious to know if the writers killed of Quinn.
Up to this point, we’ve seen backstage footage of Matt Bomer and even seen one of his duets with Darren Criss. The two cover Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know“. Given that the episode is titled “Big Brother“, we simply can’t be treated to just one duet. It is Matt Bomer after all. The one I’ve been looking forward to hearing the most since I first learned about it, is the Duran Duran mashup. After hearing it, I have to say it was worth the wait. The two belt out the 80s classics “Rio” and “Hungry Like The Wolf“.
If that wasn’t enough music for you, the familial drama continues with an emotional solo by Darren Criss. His character Blaine really goes to town on Christina Aguilera’s first foray into rock music, “Fighter“. It’s definitely one of my favorite tracks ever from Xtina. Criss does a solid job on the angst-ridden track. Check out “Fighter” and the Duran Duran mashup below, before the powers-that-be take down the YouTube audio.
What did you think? Which one is your favorite? Sound off below.

Ok, so by what I get from the song choices I think I know what will happen in the next episode. Blaine and his Brother have a weird- incestual- relationship that becomes strained by years of alienation. Quinn? Who’s that? Oh probably that chick that was just about to have a good storyline, but Artie’s lonely, so fuck her legs!

He should not have sung Fighter. Just shows his weaker voice. It is hard for people to follow strong singers like Christina.

Fighter is not best. Disappointing. Would have loved for Santana to have sung it.
