Last week was a rough week on Dancing With The Stars. After sharing personal stories through their routines, the cast grew closer than ever. The heartbreak continued as the ballroom went into shock after TV sweetheart Kristin Cavallari didn’t have the votes to stay in the competition and was sent home.

This week, the stars will be dancing to some of the most epic movie themes of all time. We’ll see the tango, the paso doble and more. With the pressure at it’s highest, the stars are beginning to hit their breaking points. Who will come out on top tonight? Check out my four favorite routines from the night below.

4. HOPE SOLO & MAKSIM CHMERKOVSKIY

Hope has only been so-so for me this season. Last week, she showed off a little more of what she was capable of but this week, she finally proved herself. Even though she had the worst movie theme of the night with “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” from Toy Story, her and Maks still managed to work it out and give her the best scores she has seen this season. I think we could see Hope make the final three if she keeps working this hard.

THE SCORES:
Carrie Ann: 8
Len: 8
Bruno: 8

3. DAVID ARQUETTE & KYM JOHNSON

Last week, David calmed his nerves and finally showed the skill that we all knew was hiding underneath his frantic form. Tonight, David did an amazing job of his routine to the theme from Indiana Jones. I thought that David did a great job of staying in character as well as bringing all the technique that he needed. While Len didn’t think it was the greatest, I think it was my favorite David performance thus far.

THE SCORES:
Carrie Ann: 8
Len: 7
Bruno: 8

2. J.R. MARTINEZ & KARINA SMIRNOFF

J.R. has been a big surprise for me this season. He hit the ground running and has been impressing me with his dedication and technique week after week. There hasn’t been a routine of his that hasn’t been on my favorites list. He just brings the party every time. This routine to the Pink Panther theme brought the right amount of comedy with technique and the outfits were amazing. I’m surprised that he didn’t get at least one 10.

THE SCORES:
Carrie Ann: 8
Len: 9
Bruno: 9

1. RICKI LAKE & DEREK HOUGH

Once again, Ricki Lake has left me speechless. I 100% chalk her success up to the help of the incredible, Derek Hough. His choreography on Ricki has always made her look her absolute best and I’m sure he’s been pushing to do well. They had a tough task with the theme from Psycho, but the duo pulled it off with a shocker of an ending. Not to mention, Ricki looked absolutely stunning in her get-up. I definitely give this a 10 as well.

Carrie Ann: 10
Len: 9
Bruno: 10

HONORABLE MENTION: CHAZ BONO & LACEY SCHWIMMER

I have to give a little honoarable mention to Chaz Bono for his triumphant routine tonight to the theme from Rocky. He had his mother Cher and Carrie Ann in tears. There is something to be said about being the underdog and making such a statement with your routine.
