Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds Talks Mormon Guilt, Gay Mormon Friends & More On Ellen

It’s no secret that Dan Reynolds is a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community. With his new documentary Believer, the 30-year-old Imagine Dragons frontman takes his support a step even further.

Reynolds goes on a new mission to explore how the Church treats its LGBTQ members. With the rising suicide rate amongst teens in the state of Utah, his concern with the Church’s policies sends him on an unexpected path for acceptance and change. His aim is to bridge the gap between his faith and the LGBTQ community.

Reynolds sat down with Ellen DeGeneres not only to talk about the film, but also about his faith. Specifically, how he’s decided to stay with the church despite having different viewpoints on several topics. Watch the revealing interview below.
