A while back, I introduced my highly anticipated albums for 2012. One of those albums is due out from Voice judge, Christina Aguilera. Luckily for us, the blonde diva has a released a few details about the upcoming project. We know that she’s been in the studio off and on recording a few tracks, but what can we really expect to hear? If you remember, the singer released the album Bionic back in 2010 but it was somewhat of a flop.
This time around, Aguilera states that she’s in a more “introspective place“. A Homorazzi reader reminded me of her Stripped album, saying that even though it contained some uptempo pop tracks, it still contained a more heavy lyrical content. So, is that what we can expect from a newfound Christina? Her spot on The Voice has really rejuvenated her career. Let’s hope she can ride this train for a while.
In a new promo for The Voice, Christina says that she plans on giving something more “honest and raw” for this album. “I’m recording my next album right now… and I’m really excited because I find myself in a very introspective stage of my life. I’ve learned so much, have experienced so much, in leaps and bounds. It’s a journey of growth for me, continuously throughout my career. I’m excited to put it all down on paper through my lyrics and my voice.” We can’t wait either Christina.
The lead-off single from the new album has been rumored to be titled F*ck Your Body which has also been deemed to be titled Love Your Body for radio and music video purposes. A few quick snippets presumed to be the instrumental have landed online. From what I can hear, I like the direction she’s taking. Check out the quick clip below.
What do you think of the mini-clip? I think that 2012 could be a comeback year for Aguilera. Are you stoked for album this year? Sound off below.

No.. Sorry. I don’t like her screaming voice.. I mean I love some of her songs, nut she always oversing and that’s annoying~~
Many times she is yelling but not singing and I have enough for that. I don’t wanna hear from her anymore.

Sherman set the time machine to 2001 so we can get a good pic of Christina for her new CD , ok mr. peabody . gurl needs to stop screaming and doing runs of every word already . just sing the song , hit the big notes like ya used to . all this vocal gymnastics is annoying .
