“Homeland” represents a homecoming of sorts for Chord Overstreet. The 27-year-old Glee actor left Nashville in 2007 when he graduated high school to pursue stardom in Hollywood. His new country single, literally, brings him back to his old stomping grounds.
The music video for “Homeland” was filmed near his childhood home in Kingston Springs, about a half-hour outside Nashville. His friends, sister and father even make an appearance in the clip. Who says you can’t come home?
Chord was the first artist to sign with Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas and Phil McIntyre’s Safehouse Records, a joint venture with Island Records. “Homeland” is the first single from a forthcoming EP. Give the music video a view below.
