Will Chord Overstreet Be A Series Regular On Season 4 of Glee?

We have all summer to wait but already, season four of Glee is highly anticipated among many. I have to admit, I’m not too sure the show will be able to keep my attention all season long. In fact, I missed the last three episodes of season three and still have yet to “catch up” on them. One thing that I want to tune in for for this upcoming season is to see how creator Ryan Murphy plans on integrating the graduated students into the show along with the newcomers coming on board.

Already announced as a new cast member (unofficially of course) is Idol alum Jessica Sanchez and we have to yet to reveal the winner of The Glee Project season two winner who will appear I am sure. But now, rumors are circulating that Chord Overstreet may be promoted to series regular for this upcoming fourth season. Chord spoke with Zap2It in January and stated that his grade had never been brought up. Does this mean we can expect more Chord in season four? I hope so!

Deadline reports that Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera, Kevin McHale, Darren Criss, Amber Riley, Jenna Ushkowitz, Jayma Mays, Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Harry Shum Jr. and Heather Morris will all return in some capacity for season four. With Finn (Cory Monteith) graduated, that leaves room for Chord Overstreet to help take over the choir room.

There is no doubt that Leah Michelle will still be a strong presence on the show considering she is definitely one of the main stars and I hope Chord can maintain a similar focus. They’ve made it pretty clear that his story line and character development are an integral part of the show. What would you like to see happen with season four of Glee?
