Cher Lloyd Makes An ‘Oath’ With Becky Gomez On New Radio Single

On October 2, UK import Cher Lloyd will release her debut album Sticks + Stones in the US. The 19-year-old fourth place X Factor finalist won over American hearts with her single, Want U Back and is quickly gaining momentum with every track she releases. Even though the Brit performed With Ur Love on the Today Show recently and announced it as her next single, her camp has decided to release another track.

Wherever you go, just always remember
You never alone, we born to the better
And we’ll never change, no matter the weather
This is my oath to you

Cher teamed up with recent Dr. Luke project Becky Gomez for Oath– one of two new tracks featured on the US version of the album. The bouncy pop track debuted on Z100 this past week and is definitely radio ready with many fans and critics stating that tracks shows significant influences of Avril Lavigne. I personally adore the track but still think that With Ur Love would be a strong second choice for the US. Give a listen to the new track below and give us your thoughts in the comments.

I don’t think it sounds even close to Avril Lavigne’s style. I love Cher Lloyd and I like this song, very catchy.

Some parts of it sounds like Pink’s – Don’t Let me Get Me
