The department store announced it was dropping Ivanka Trump’s brand due to sales. “Each year we cut about 10 percent and refresh our assortment with about the same amount. In this case, based on the brand’s performance we’ve decided not to buy it for this season,” via statement. Sound business decision, considering no one is buying the merchandise.
Not surprisingly, President Donald J. Trump took to his favorite social media app to share his two cents. “My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by @Nordstrom. She is a great person — always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!,” he tweeted.
Chelsea Handler, who’s made it no secret her feelings towards Trump, tweeted “Trump says his daughter has been treated ‘so unfairly’ by Nordstrom. Oh, was she detained for 19 hours when she tried to enter the store?” Love her or hate her, but that’s pretty funny.
That apparently wasn’t enough Trump trolling for Handler. She posed in front of the White House with a Muslim and gay friend, with all three armed with Nordstrom bags. She posted the pictures on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, each with a different quote. Check them out below.
