Since the penultimate episode of Gossip Girl airs tonight, I thought I’d share a fashion editorial featuring one of the show’s stars. It’s only natural with the show ending, that Chace Crawford look into post-show gigs. Based on this photo shoot snapped by Angelo Pennetta for MrPorter.com, he should seriously consider going back to his modeling roots. After reading his interview with the mens’ fashion journal, I don’t think that’s very likely. The Texan reveals he hated modeling.
“I did a little bit of hosting stuff in high school, so I already knew I had the voice for it… I’d done a little bit of modeling, and hated it, but then I met these agents who told me how much money I could make being in commercials and I was like, OK.” – Chace Crawford
The 27-year-old actor also reflects on his time on the once popular CW show. He reveals filming the last few scenes with Leighton Meester and Blake Lively was “a surreal experience.” The Nate Archibald portrayer likened the experience to “leaving college, just without a degree.”
I have to admit, when the show first premiered, I thought Chace was the hottest thing alive. As the season’s chugged along, not only did the storylines start sucking, but my crush on him wore off. Don’t get me wrong. I would still act like a giddy love-stricken school girl if I ever met him- especially if he’s shirtless ;) Check out Crawford’s spread below wearing Mr. Porter’s Acne evening wear collection. He looks dashingly handsome.

“Working. I just want to be working. I want to do something really shocking. I know I’m capable of it. The right thing just has to come up.”

“I was worried I wouldn’t like it at first because it’s too quiet. But now I absolutely love it. You’re isolated, and because you’re high up you feel as if you’re out of the city.”

“It was kind of like The Craft meets The Lost Boys meets a boy band… At least in Harry Potter their powers were more defined. Ours were kind of ambiguous.”
