A while back, Jimmy Kimmel did a segment where celebrities read mean tweets about themselves written by random people on the web. Now, he’s compiled a bunch of clips of another group of celebs reading hateful tweets that people wrote about them once again.
If there’s one thing I can’t stand, it’s the cowardly, online bully. The person with no real name or face that hides behind his computer screen and writes awful thing about other people – I’ve written about this in a post about online anonymity. Anyway, I love how the people who write such awful things (such as wishing certain celebs dead) are called out in this segment.
Celebrities reading tweets in the following clip include: Danny McBride, James Van Der Beek, Katy Perry, Zooey Deschanel, Larry King, David Spade, Kristen Stewart, Matt Leblanc, Snooki, Matisyahu, and Justin Bieber. Watch the video below.

People should be held accountable for what they say, but many of the “bullies” who posted about celebrities are now having their pages flooded by grumpy celebrity fans. The segment is hilarious, but it hasn’t done a lot in terms of encouraging people to be nicer to others.
