Carly Rae Jepsen drops her fourth studio album on May 17. It’s her first full-length LP in four years since EMOTION. Leading up to the release of Dedicated, the 33-year-old singer has shared “Julien,” “Now That I Found You,” “No Drug Like Me” and “Party For One.” With a week away from Dedicated arriving, Carly Rae reveals another track.
“Too Much” falls smack dab in the middle of the tracklist. It’s a minimalist electro-pop number which opens a bit quieter than the rest but still leads up to a lush chorus. Jepsen questions her tendency of going all in with regards to relationships on the shimmery track.
“I’ll do anything to get to the rush/ Now I’m dancing, and I’m dancing too much/ So be careful if you’re wanting this touch/ ‘Cause if I love you, then I love you too much,” she laments.
