‘Captain Marvel’ Debuts First Movie Trailer

Higher. Further. Faster. That’s how Captain Marvel is being described. But exactly what superpowers does she actually have? We’ll have to wait and find out.

Captain Marvel is set to become an important part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The part-human, part-alien character was first teased in the end-credits scene of Avengers: Infinity War. Marvel’s newest hero doesn’t arrive in theaters until March 8, 2019, but we have our first look of her in action now thanks to the just-released movie trailer.

Brie Larson steps in to play the titular heroine. She’s joined by Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva and Jude Law as Mar-Vell / Walter Lawson. Samuel L. Jackson and Clark Gregg reprise their roles of Nick Fury and Phil Coulson respectively.

Check out the trailer below which kicks off in a Blockbuster Video store. Definitely appropriate since the film is set in the 1990s. The once-dominate chain perfectly personifies the decade.
