Just days after Donatella Versace paid homage to her friend, Bruno Mars debuts the music video for his latest single, “Versace On The Floor.” And like Donatella’s tribute, it’s an equally stylish affair.
Directed by Mars and Cameron Duddy, the clip features Zendaya as the love interest. She looks absolutely stunning in a mini gold dress which I assume is Versace. While Bruno plays the piano on his side of the hotel room wall, Zendaya spins around in her sparkly outfit lip syncing to the ballad.
This isn’t the first time Zendaya has lip synced to a Mars track. She performed “24K Magic” on Lip Sync Battle. Though a solid effort, she lost to Tom Holland’s spectacular turn as Rihanna in “Umbrella.”
In other Bruno-related news, the 31-year-old singer recently donated $1 million to the Flint water crisis during his concert in Michigan.
Check out the “Versace On The Floor” clip below. It’s interesting that Mars chose the original album recording and not the David Guetta remix which was sent to radio a couple of months ago. Guess that version wasn’t generating heat and not cutting it.
