There’s a new app that will be hitting the iTunes Store soon that targeting males between 21 and 40 who are looking to get up, get out, and be active in both social and physical events. It’s called Bromance and the tagline: “The location-based network for dudes that do.” Although it may sound like it, it’s not another Grindr. The founders and developers of the site created the app out of a need. They found it hard to find the right people with similar interests and places to go in the new areas that they moved to after college.
They sat down and decided to make a location based application that would service the needs of meeting fun, “passionate about getting out and doing things types of people”. Not only to just add to their Facebook friends, but to meet in person too. How bromantic!
I guess there could be a need for this kind of app, but something tells me that there will be a lot of gay guys (the ones into straight guys) using this app to “get up, get out, and get off” instead. You know, just two bros helping each other out… wink 😉 Wait a minute, are Sean Cody and Jake Cruise the founders? LOL.
