The official remix for Will.i.am and Britney Spears‘ “Scream & Shout” song leaked over the weekend and we’ve got it for you to listen to below. The remixed song from producer Hit Boy features Lil Wayne, Waka Flocka Flame, and Diddy.
After the song leaked, Britney Spears tweeted, “I don’t think the world is ready” and then started to tease fans that she was on set working on the music video. “I’m on set shooting the #ScreamandShoutRemixVideo @iamwill @Hit_Boy @iamdiddy @WakaFlockaBSM @LilTunechi redefining remix.” Will.i.am joined in the conversation by adding, “@britneyspears I don’t think the clubs are ready, I don’t think the speakers are ready for the 808′s…I agree with you…#getREADY”. I will say that the remix is totally not what I expected, but definitely falls in line with the comeback of hip hop.

I was turned off IMMEDIATELY, personally. There might be something to the beat, but the excessive profanity takes me back as somewhere else unpleasant as soon as I get into it…
I feel like I should look around my shoulders frantically, because I’ve been transported from my room straight to da hood. Some homie is going to jump out screaming, “Gimme yo’ Fucking MacBook Fucking Faggot Fuck Fucker Bitch!”
