Britney Spears is one busy girl these days! With the European portion of her Femme Fatale tour underway, Britney managed to find the time to begin the video shoot for her upcoming single, “Criminal”. Thanks to Breatheheavy.com, I’ve learned a little bit more about the concept of the video:

“The Fiance is a pompous asshole. Very good looking and can easily get the ladies, but you look at him and you say to yourself, “That guy’s a douchebag.” Must be fit for fighting scene.

Brit’s at a posh event with her Fiance, as made obvious by an engagement ring on her finger. The “Womanizer” flirts with other women and doesn’t treat his bride to be well at all. Britney is clearly not happy with him or or where she is. Checking her Swarovski (as she does), she’s counting down the seconds for the night to be over. When she embarrasses him, he grabs her by the wrist and takes her outside. Uh oh.

As Britney and her faux fiance leave the building, they pass by someone on a cigarette break. The fiance then throws Brit against the wall and slaps her. He squeezes her face and yells at her. When he goes to hit her again, Jason catches his wrist and then knocks the fiance down. Not knowing what hit him, he’s on the ground (bloody) and looking around. Britney is le shocked.

The trouble doesn’t stop there. He’s what Radar reported would happen next:

Suddenly… we see boots quickly shuffling around outside. Police cars are parked as more arrive. They surround the apartment. The Chief gets on his megaphone and starts shouting into it. Britney and Jason are out of the shower and look through the blinds to discover the police everywhere with their guns drawn. They throw on some clothes and attempt to escape out the back, but the police are there waiting as well)

The video would be complete with out some cheesy dialogue, don’t you think?

Jason: You okay?
Britney: Yeah… wait, no.
Britney goes over and kicks the Fiance. She walks back over to Jason.
Britney: Now I am.
After a moment…
Jason: Get on.
She jumps on the back of the motorcycle. As it rides off, Britney’s engagement ring is tossed onto the ground in front of the Fiance.

“And then we kissed” as Britney would put it. After all of the action, there’s always time for a kiss….

The officers begin firing into the building as Britney and Jason begin to passionately kiss. Glass shatters… walls explode with holes and dust clouds… debris flies everywhere. Lots of slow-motion shots… Destruction inside and outside of the building”

This definitely sounds like a fun video for Brit and it’s great that Jason can play along with her. Yesterday, Britney was seen shooting some of the scenes in London. In the pictures, we see everything from Britney toting a gun and ski mask, walking alongside Jason and her manager and even robbing a convenience store? I’m definitely anxious to see how this one turns out!
