Britney Spears Celebrates ‘…Baby One More Time’ 20th Anniversary

Holy crap! 20 frigging years. Where did the past two decades go??? Even more insane is the fact that Britney Spears is only three years away from turning 40!!! I’m officially geriatric 🙁

On January 12, 1999, Britney Spears released her debut solo album, …Baby One More Time. It ushered in the revival of teen pop. The LP has been certified 14x platinum in the United States and spawned the massive hit, “…Baby One More Time.” To date, it’s Spears’ most successful album with over 25 million copies sold worldwide. Britney even scored a couple of Grammy nominations as a result- Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for “…Baby One More Time.” Spears celebrated the album milestone on Instagram.

Take a walk down memory lane below and revisit the music videos from this era from Britney. “Sometimes” and “(You Drive Me) Crazy” are still among my favorite cuts ever from Spears. Which tracks are your favorite? Weigh in below.
