Just days after proudly declaring “Hell no,” when asked if gay men were welcome at her male revue show, Black Magic, Vivica A. Fox’s future participation has ended. Jean-Claude LaMarre, the director and producer of Black Magic, didn’t take too kindly to her comments. As a result, he’s cut ties with the 52-year-old actress.
“The comments were out of order, and it does not represent our attitudes toward the LGBT community. All are welcomed,” he told TMZ before adding, “Vivica speaks for herself not the business or the show.”
Prior to collaborating on Black Magic, LaMarre cast Fox in his Magic Mike-like flick, Chocolate City and its sequel Chocolate City: Vegas. With Vivica out now, are you going to sample the Lifetime series, Black Magic? Weigh in below.
