With Señor Willie out of the house things have been quiet. Despite the fact that he left the house on such a sour note, houseguests have moved on and are ready to pick on their next targets, Jojo & Shane. Being aliened with Willie and voting to evict Frank last week, it seems only fair for the two of them to be nominated. Immediately after Willie’s expulsion from the game, Shane knew he was Frank’s number one target. Without a doubt in his mind, he knew Jojo and himself would be nominated. Jojo on the other hand, had to talk to Frank and give it one last shot. Frank informed her, his mind was made up, and there was nothing she could do to change it.
With Jojo and Shane now officially nominated they knew the Veto competition was their only hope of staying in the game. Without a moment to waste it was time to pick players for the Veto competition. Both Jojo and Shane were gunning for the Veto however there was also one other player that wanted the power, Danielle. Being the sole survivor on Dan’s team, Danielle knew in the event that a nominee came off the block, she would be the replacement.
Joe as the host
For this week’s Veto competition it was “El Veto Competition!” with the backyard looking like a Mexican feast. The objective of this game was simple; the players had to successfully fill out their menu boards with as many correct answers in the fastest time. But in the Big Brother house, things are never that simple. Dressed as human tortilla chips, players had to search through giant guacamole, bean and cheese dips to find their menu pieces. The menu board with the correct order was on the other side of the yard faced in the opposite direction. Players wasted no time diving head first into the pools of dip, looking for each piece. With Ian, and his photographic memory taking an early lead, Shane knew he had to kick it into overdrive in order to save himself from eviction. With Jojo not far behind it was anyone’s game. As usual, Wil and Ashley were no competition for the actual competitors on this challenge and on another note, contribute nothing to their alliance aside from their votes. With Ian, only one piece away from completion, Shane knew he had to slap his on first and ring his bell before Ian. At last Shane found his piece seconds before Ian and rang his bell. Following was, Ian, Jojo, Frank, Wil and Ashley. With the exception of Ashley that got 13 out of 16 correct, everyone received a perfect score, leaving it to who had the fastest time. With Shane ringing his bell first, he won the Power of Veto and is safe for this week! Personally, I want him and Janelle to make it to the final two, Shane cause he’s easy on the eyes and Janelle because she’s my fav all star of Big Brother.
With Shane winning the Power of Veto, and obviously taking himself off the block it left a horrible feeling with Danielle. Fearing she was the replacement nominee Danielle sought after Shane for comfort. Being her cuddle buddy, she thought she would at least have his vote in the event she was nominated. Unfortunately Shane didn’t tell Danielle exactly what she wanted to hear, and didn’t make her any promises. Lastly Danielle went to Dan, the one person she knew that could help her, for advice as to what she should do. However Coach Dan had other plans on his mind. Dan decided it was either time for Danielle to sink or swim and fend for herself this week. Danielle, the lovely girl that she is, completely misunderstood Dan’s tough love message and felt isolated and lost.

At the Veto ceremony, as predicted Shane used the power and took himself off the block, leaving Frank with the task of nominating a replacement houseguest for eviction. Prior to the veto ceremony, Shane made a game changing offer to Frank, hinting to him that Wil is his next big threat and if he keeps Danielle and Jojo safe this week they’ll return the favor next week. Luckily, this time around the HOH has a good head on their shoulders and Frank resists rocking the boat so early in the game. In the end Danielle is nominated as the replacement, and it was no shock as to why she was nominated. With Dan down to his last player, if Danielle is evicted, Dan leaves too and that leaves the remaining coaches with a greater chance at winning $100 000. My advice to Danielle is go hard or go home. It’s now or never to prove to the house and America that you deserve to be here. IMHO I don’t want to see either of them go, if it were up to me I’d nominate Joe, Wil, or Ashley. Thanks to Janelle they’ve, up to this point, had a free ride. But that’s how the game works in the Big Brother house. Make sure you tune into the live eviction tomorrow night to see who gets evicted and who’s crowned the new HOH!

I hope Danielle goes so it will get Dan out of the house. These coaches are soooooo annoying. Boogie is a ridiculous man-child, Dan has been useless since day 1 and picked a horrible team, Britney screwed Willie and then shunned him which pretty much ruined her team’s chances. janelle is the only tolerable one but she has a boring as all get out team.
The house is a bit blah since Willie’s dramatic exit so I hope something happens to liven the house up.
Also, Joe needs to go SOON!
