Tonight was yet another episode of Big Brother. With the finale just weeks away it seems like the gloves are coming off and final two deals are being thrown around like crazy. Following Sunday’s episode we left off with Jenn and Frank up on the block. Dan, Shane and Danielle, being in an alliance with Ian, and Joe the most useless player in Big Brother history, it seemed fairly obvious to put up the two of them. For Frank this was no surprise, he has a permanent residence up on the block, as for Jenn it was her second time and she wasn’t happy. With the mental strain of BB taking it’s tole on her, as well as being on slop and now on the block Jenn was almost ready to give up. But a pep talk from her pal Frank snapped her out of it, reminding her that she still had Dan, Danielle looking out for her, or does she? While Frank may think his final two deal with Dan is solid, Dan has no intention of holding his end of the bargain and plans to backstab Frank the 1st chance he gets.
With tonight’s episode being particularly uneventful let’s move on to the Veto competition. Tonight’s Veto comp was similar to past comps in earlier seasons. The most memorable one was in Janelle’s season where a controversial kick was made during the comp. Janelle actually ninja kicked James in the head to find her doll and ultimately won the veto. Always keeping it classy. For tonight’s veto comp players had to help the alien Otev, refill his spaceship with fuel so he could make it back to planet Veto. Otev would state a riddle regarding a past houseguest. Players then had to dive into brown slim, and under barbed-wire to find a cob of corn with that player’s name on it. The last player to present their corn to Otev was eliminated. This specific comp always sent my heart racing. The level of cut-throat and ruthlessness some players are will to go through really keeps me on the edge of my seat. However tonight that wasn’t the case, and aside from a stumbling Ian and an accident run in between Frank and Jenn, players kept it clean. Here are the eliminated houseguests from each round:
Before the veto comp Frank feared winning the Veto, worried that Ian might name Dan as a replacement nominee. A week ago, Frank would love nothing more than to send Dan home, now he’s worried enough to throw the veto comp and stay on the block to keep him safe. Goes to show how fast things can change in the Big Brother house. Dan happy with Franks offer as he planned to use the veto on Jenn making Ian name Joe as a replacement nominee and send blind-side Frank by sending him home. Drawing closer to towards the comp Frank smartened up and realized the only person that he could trust was himself and decided not to throw the competition. Dan quickly realized this and went all out, ultimately winning him the Golden Power of Veto,
After the competition, Dan went up to the HOH room and spoke to Ian. He basically stated it was time to get Frank out and asked Ian if he would be willing to make a final two deal. I would like to point out that this will be Dan’s 3rd final two deal. He has one with Danielle, Frank and now Ian. During his season, he won by playing an honest game, this season he’s shaking things up a bit by playing dirty and it’s working so far.

During the veto ceremony Dan decide to repay Jenn for saving him last week and used the veto to take her off the block. Ian then named Joe as his replacement nominee. To be honest, it’s clear from the live feeds that Joe has made it this far for being the house chef. Almost every night Joe cooks the whole house dinner and if I was in the house I wouldn’t evict him. I’m, 99% sure if he makes it to the final two with anyone, he will not win the grand prize simply because he hasn’t won anything. The only reason why the houseguests keep him around is, he votes how they want him to vote and he cooks. Frank being anywhere near the final two is extremely dangerous because he has the social and physical game to take home all the money. Be sure to tune into tomorrow’s live double eviction to see an entire weeks worth of Big Brother in one eventful hour!

I cannot believe that Frank threw the POV competition. Since Boogie left the house, he has not been playing smart moves. He is definitely leaving tonight, I am just wondering who else will leave. Since I was working at Dish last night, I had to watch it this morning on my Hopper with the Auto Hop feature. It was nice because Auto Hop automatically skipped over the commercials for me. I watched it and had time to get the kids ready for school. I cannot wait for tonight’s episode to see who will actually leave the house.
