We’re a little over a week away from Beyonce’s highly-anticipated halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII. Who’s excited? I definitely was, until I saw her set list. Given Destiny’s Child’s catalogue and her own extensive solo discography, I’m a little surprised of her choices. Disappointed is a word that quickly comes to mind. Of course, the leaked set list might not be true, but US Weekly is reporting it’s from a reliable source.
Before I share the quartet of songs she’s performing along with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for the DC reunion, I wanted to quickly share a couple of photos Bey shared with her fans via Instagram. The 31-year-old is seen in a solo (above) and group shot rehearsing for her big day. Reportedly, the singer is anxious to wow audiences after her Inauguration lip-sync controversy. The black and white silhouette snap below is gorgeous. Check it out, along with the rumored set list.

US Weekly’s source claims Beyonce will begin the show by performing her solo debut hit single, “Crazy In Love” then will be immediately joined by Rowland and Williams. Once reunited, the trio are performing a medley of their greatest hits, “Bills, Bills, Bills” and “Survivor,” then close out the show with their new single, “Nuclear.”
Ummm, okay… While, I fully expected DC’s lackluster new track would be in the mix, I’m a little bummed about the other DC tracks. No “Bootylicious,” “Lose My Breath,” or “Jumpin, Jumpin“? For that matter, why is Beyonce singing only one solo song? After all, she got the gig on her own. “Ring The Alarm,” “Irreplaceable,” or “Single Ladies” nowhere to be found? For shame Mrs. Carter. Absolute blasphemy.
What do you think of the rumored set list? Disappointed or ecstatic? The song I’m most looking forward to is “Crazy In Love“. Hopefully, Jay-Z does a surprise cameo and performs his rap interlude. Do you agree? Sound off below.

unlike madonna’s performance, i’m not really all that excited to see this one…and now, less so. this setlist is lacking. they only have about 12 minutes, though, so they’re not going to be able to put everything in. bills, bills, bills is an odd choice even though it will be recognizable. still, as you mentioned, donovan, it could be a fake setlist.

us weekly itself isnt a reliable source, i dont think this is the final set list maybe some of these songs might come up but overall i dont think beyonce wont perform some of her bigger hits and she will have a new single to promote by then i think thats what she has said.

There’s no way, it’s Beyonce, this will be the Beyonce show and Kelly and Michelle will get all of 15 seconds on stage.

Oh great… another Drag Queen “Lip synch for your life”-performance from her. She is so pathetic. Always has been, always will be. Over dramatic gestures, falls on her bump during almost every performance and even when her voice comes from a CD it doesn’t have a very pleasing tone.

i think everyone is thinking this going to be a full blown concert, it’s a half time show at the SUPER BOWL! I love B and DC but at the end of the end lets be real, she’s not catering to the gay community with this performance, she’s catering to 25-35 year old men wanting to see good football.

Who gives a shit about catering? There isn’t one demographic an artist solely caters to, and to think like that is stupid.
I want Bey to sing Single Ladies and Telephone!

telephone? horrid song. leave it to Caca to “sing” it
And I don’t think anyone is expecting a full blown concert, it’s the superbowl, that is just a stupid comment. and she’s catering to everyone not just one demographic, so singing her biggest hits would be the smart thing to do. this setlist is obviously fake
