Wowza! One already very well-off celebrity has just signed a $50-million multi-year deal with Pepsi as a brand ambassador, which includes commercials, a fund to support creative endeavors, and limited edition cans with their picture on it (I’ve included a picture of these cans below).

The endorsement will roll out in February, which will coincide with the release of the artist’s new album, a documentary, as well as their Pepsi-sponsored Super Bowl performance in New Orleans on February 3. Any guesses yet?

Following the announcement, the artist said in a statement, “Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve…this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.” Find out

None other than Beyonce Knowles. Earlier this year, Forbes named her and Jay-Z the World’s Highest Paid Celebrity Couple… and this is yet another example. In February, Beyonce will appear in a global Pepsi (“Life For Now”) commercial, which will be her fifth commercial for the company since 2002. Expect to see her in life-size standees in stores and on the limited edition cans, as shown below.

According to The New York Times, “The $50 million will be used for print, out-of-home, as well as in-storeadvertising and promotions worldwide, with the remainder split equally between Beyoncé’s fee and a “creative content development fund.”
