Last week, Matt wrote about Beyonce’s plans to reveal her music video for “I Was Here” on World Humanitarian Day and she did just that.
The song was performed at the United Nations and the video is inter-spliced with some of the footage that was shown on the screen. It’s a pretty epic performance and the visuals combined with the lyrics simply take your breath away. It really makes you take a step back and remember what’s really important and I’m not gonna like, a couple times I felt my eyes get a little watery.
The message of the video and the lyrics are simply to think about what is it that you want to be remembered for? How did you impact the people around you and/or the world? What positive change did you bring to the world? Take a moment to reflect and watch the beautiful video below.
