Beyonce Reveals Her 10 Favorite Songs of 2011

It seems like everyone and their dog has a year end list these days. Why should celebrities be immune to succumbing to this trend and not share their favorites via a Top 10 list? Since Beyonce is major preggers right now and probably bored out of her mind, she decided to occupy herself by compiling her favorite 10 songs of 2011. According to a post on her official website, the “Irreplaceable” singer just couldn’t get enough of these tracks.

I have to admit the list sorta surprised me. The list is far more hip-hop than I would’ve expected. Sure, it includes her hubby Jay-Z but a few other rappers as well. Apparently, Bey has a major hard-on for Lil Wayne– he made the list three times. Someone sure likes to get their swagger on. That said, the list also included a few R&B tracks and a couple of surprises. Even Beyonce couldn’t leave Adele off her list. Because if she did, that would be some serious haterade. See what dominated the former Destiny’s Child singer’s iPod this past year. Speaking of DC, one of her bandmates also made the list. Find out who below.

Big Sean feat. Nicki Minaj – “Dance (A$$)”

Future – “Tony Montana”

Jay-Z & Kanye West – “Ni**as in Paris”

Kelly Rowland feat. Lil Wayne – “Motivation”

Adele – “Someone Like You”

Drake feat. Lil Wayne – “The Motto”

Rihanna – “Man Down”

Chris Brown feat. Busta Rhymes & Lil Wayne – “Look at Me Now”

James Blake – “The Wilhelm Scream”

Frank Ocean – “Novacane”

What did you think of the list? Despite reports otherwise, it would seem Beyonce doesn’t mind Rihanna, or was including her on this list simply a move to squash feud rumors? That Bey is one savvy PR maestro. I have to admit, I wasn’t familiar with either James Blake or Frank Ocean’s tracks but both impressed. I’ll definitely be checking out more of their music. Thanks B. Which of these tracks would you include on your list, if any? Share below.
