It’s been almost 20 years since “The Golden Girls” signed off from NBC, but that hasn’t stopped Betty White from dishing out some dirt. In a recent interview with Joy Behar on her HLN show, White aka Rose Nyland revealed a few juicy details from the set. White was on hand to promote her new book “If You Ask Me (And Of Course You Won’t)“. The 89-year-old actress told Behar that one of her former co-stars wasn’t fond of her.
“I don’t know what I ever did but she was not that thrilled with me.” - Betty White
Which Golden Girl do you think had it in for White? Estelle Getty (Sophia), Rue McClanahan (Blanche) or Bea Arthur (Dorothy)? You’ll have to scroll down a bit further to find out. Yup, I’m making you work for it. LOL.
Drumroll please… it’s Bea Arthur. Surprised? I can’t figure why Bea Arthur would have it in for her? Sadly, we can’t really resurrect her and find out either. Oh well. In the interview, White talked about being surprised she was the only one left standing. Being the oldest, she’s shocked she’s the sole Golden Girl.
