Let’s be honest. When it’s time for the father-daughter dance at a wedding reception, it’s usually a cue to hit the bar or take a leak. Typically, they’re a bore, right? This one is definitely NOT a snoozefest.
Utah bride Mikayla Ellison Phillips and her dad Nathan Ellison started out the traditional dance as expected, in hold and moving to a ballad. Within seconds, they flipped the script by turning up the energy and performing a dance mashup featuring iconic dance moves from MC Hammer, LMFAO and N’ Sync to name a few. They even did The Carlton when Tom Jones’ “It’s Not Unusual” played. Check out the epicness below.
“I’m the oldest and the only girl so that was my dad’s only chance to do something like this,” Phillips told ABC News. “He for years has talked about doing that and he finally convinced me.”
