When Bebe Rexha first released the track a few weeks ago, three friends messaged me separately, saying they immediately thought of me when they listened to “F.F.F. (F**k Fake Friends).” I didn’t know whether to be flattered or insulted. Flattered because my friends know what music I like or insulted because they think I’m a fake friend. I found out later it’s because they all know I loathe fakeness around me. Naturally, I’m all in with this new jam.
The last time Rexha teamed up with G-Eazy, they scored the Top 10 hit, “Me, Myself & I“. Their new collaboration is off Bebe’s All Your Fault: Pt. 1 EP. Like Robyn did a few years ago, the 27-year-old singer is releasing her new album in multiple parts. Interesting strategy indeed.
Rexha and G-Eazy just released the accompanying visual. It takes place, oddly enough, at an empty apartment complex. Did they banish all their fake friends? Bebe serves up plenty of cleavage in tight outfits while sipping on some Beluga vodka and listening to music. Meanwhile, G-Eazy plays chauffeur. Check out the music video below.
