Big Brother 14: Episode 7 – “On Thin Ice”

With both Danielle and Jojo on the block it was time to go to work, and fight for their lives. As Dan’s tough love approach blew up in his face, he decided to help his player out and persuade the house to vote Jojo out instead of Danielle. Ian however may have sealed Jojo’s fate without even knowing it. Shane winning the veto kept him safe for another week, while him and Jojo have been making things awkward in the have not room for Ian. Shane and Jojo’s flirtation has been less then entertaining for Ian, as the sexual tension between the two has Ian venting to Danielle in the backyard. However Danielle, left stunned that her showmance was being mocked by Shane’s new showman with Jojo, she sought advice from Janelle and Ashley. Paranoid a showmance would threaten her players game, Janelle went to work throwing Jojo under the bus.
Before the live eviction there was more talk of Willie’s expulsion, as if this topic hadn’t been beaten to death enough. Moving on the live eviction here is how the houseguests voted.

- Shane-Danielle
- Ian- Jojo
- Jen- Jojo
Shane, staying loyal to Jojo voted to keep her in the house. Sadly he was the only one that did so and Jojo was sent packing. Her last words to the house were “Make big moves” which is what got her former alliance member Wille in trouble. In Jojo’s defence she was an awesome competitor, but lacked a social game and couldn’t take direction to save her life.
On to the HOH competition, players were “On Thin Ice” tonight with the power up for grabs. Players had to shot their puck into the highest numbered slot, the player with the highest score would then be the new HOH. By random draw Ashley was first, and it was no surprise she scored a 4. Next was Joe and after setting up the for what felt like forever, he finally took his shot and scored a 3, again no surprise there. Jen shooting out of bounds earned herself a 0, with Ian following up with an impressive 9. After Wil’s pathetic score of 2, it was on to my number 1 player Shane! Shane scored the winning 20, with Danielle following. I knew she couldn’t possible compete with Shane’s score of 20 and I was right, she scored a 12 that beat the other players but wasn’t enough to surpass Shane. Yes! I’m ecstatic, it seems like this seasons nominees come back for the HOH and completely flip the house. With Shane the new HOH I can’t wait to see what game changing moves he will make. Be sure to catch who he nominates on Sunday and if America decides to let the coaches enter the game.

Okay Conway, I am obsessed with this show this season and I have one serious sticking point with the producers at the moment. I can’t believe more air time wasn’t spent on Janelle jumping ship from teaming up with Britney to all of a sudden working with Boogie. WTF?
I was sitting there watching last night’s episode thinking to myself, man is Janelle effing this all up! They could have gotten rid of Danielle and Dan last night, and this week it could have been two of Boogie’s players up on the block.
My dream come true scenario = American voting the coaches into the game, and Britney convincing Shane to put Boogie and Frank up. Should one of them win Veto, Dan gets put up as a replacement.

Shane needs to go for Frank, and let everyone know that if they keep Frank in the game he will win.

Sorry any opportunity to see Willie shirtless and angry is worth it. For me there’s no male eye-candy lef on the show….little reason to watch.

I still say Britney screwed Willie out of the game. I hope the coaches go in the game and she gets the boot.
I was so glad Shane won HOH as well. I hope he does well this week.

Dan: I know right! But I think there holding off til Sunday’s episode, cause *spoiler she’s talking game to everyone. She jumps ship to whoever’s HOH and thats what Dr. Wil and Boogie did to her on her season. Ultimately she wants to make it farther than, if not beat, Boogie and she will use anyone and do anything to do it. I can’t wait to see her back in the game, when they announce it to the house guests!!! I like your scenario but back door Boogie, not Dan. Boogie, because he deserves it and he’s the strongest competitor in the house..
CBL: Shane better!! If not AT LEAST backdoor Frank…

YEah – I’ll give you Shane’s not bad, just not my type. Willie though with the stocky body (although why he’d shave his chest i dunno) and the scruff definitely was. Sculpted eyebrows though and there were some scenes where i thought he talked a little too much with his hands and seemed, um, slight….
