Bastille Covers Two Classic 90s Dance Tracks For New Single

Prior to hearing their wicked cover mashup featuring Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus tracks, I had never heard of Bastille. Since then, I’ve been a fan of the English band. For their latest single, the group decided to do another cover. This time they’ve mashed up two classic 90s dance tracks and transformed them into a beautifully somber creation. Corona’s “Rhythm of the Night” and Snap!’s “Rhythm Is A Dancer” are practically unrecognizable.

Naturally, the accompanying music video for “Of The Night” is equally ominous. The lead character is a detective investigating a series of murders. It’s dark, gloomy and brooding. A perfect visual for the moody track. It’s not completely dark though. The dead bodies sing. It’s “Thriller” without all the dancing and Michael Jackson of course 😉 Check it out below.
