Who’s The Next Bachelorette and Bachelor Pad Gets a Second Season

This article contains a major spoiler so if you don’t want to know, don’t read ahead. (Fair Warning). With this season of The Bachelor coming to close, we know that usually means a season of The Bachelorette isn’t too far behind it. For a while now, rumors and speculation have been circulating about who the next woman would be. I know the truth BUT to not be a spoiler who spoils, I will leave the announcement until after the jump.

However, in other Bachelor news, ABC has announced that it will be renewing it’s summer guilty pleasure Bachelor Pad for a second season with shows beginning to air in August. If you don’t know what happens, former contestants (boys and girls) live in the Bachelor house together and compete for a cash prize (and sometimes, fall in love at the same time). Sources close to the show are saying that some past alumni have already been in discussion to return. Who would you like to see on season 2 of The Bachelor Pad?

Most fans of the show were shocked to find out that Season 15 favorite Emily Maynard was not going to be the next Bachelorette. However, I think someone better is filling in the shoes. After last night’s shocking departure of one of my favorite girls from this season, I am thrilled to know that Ashely Hebert. will become ABC’s next Bachelorette!

Ashley Hebert had a great connection with Brad which became very apparent on his visit to her hometown. She was so comfortable with him around her family and they seemed to really connect. However, after he flubbed on their last date in South Africa together, he said goodbye to her and sent her back to America leaving Chantal and Emily to vie for his affection and ultimately, to put a ring on it.

What do you think about Ashley Hebert. becoming the new Bachelorette? Do think she’ll be a good fit? I think she is very similar to Aly from last season and wish they would have chosen someone a little more unique. However, I don’t doubt that it will make for a great season. That’s all the Bachelor news I have for now. Next Monday is the reunion show and in two weeks, we’ll discover if Brad really fell in love or made a mistake to two times over.
