I guess I never got the memo. Apparently they’ve been dating for over a month now. Albeit on the DL, but still dating nonetheless. Where have I been the past month? If I had heard about this in a couple of weeks, I would’ve chalked it up to an April Fool’s joke.

The two reportedly were first spotted having dinner at Koi on Feb 4. A few days later they were seen together again on a double date with Brody’s step-sister Khloe Kardashian and her NBA husband, Lamar Odom. In the latest sighting, Hollywood’s latest hot couple were caught enjoying a night out at Beso restaurant this past weekend.

As a side note, the Mexican eatery is owned by actress Eva Longoria-Parker. During their nights out, they’ve been spotted drinking champagne and vodka while being very affectionate with each other. In one particular sighting, Avril was seen sitting on Jenner’s lap- lucky biznatch.

While this is definitely a step up for Lavigne, it is even more definite this is a step down for Brody. I love a few of Avril’s songs and her punk-rebel age inappropriate attitude, you have to admit Brody could do better. On the other hand, Brody clearly has a thing for Canadian women. The Hills star recently broke up with his Canadian Playboy Playmate girlfriend, Jayde Nicole, in December. Avril, on the flipside, filed for divorce from her husband, Sum41 frontman, Deryck Whibley.

Match made in heaven, publicity stunt or a drunken one-night stand extended to a month? You be the judge.
