First it was Lauren, now’ it’s Audrina. It’s official, this season will be Audrina’s last on The Hills. The show is certainly changing a lot very quickly.
“I’m almost done with The Hills. Were in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I’ll be leaving then,” 24 year old Audrina says at a recent event promoting her upcoming film debut with Rumer Willis, Sorority Row. “It feels like I’m graduating,” she continued. “I’m taking the next step and growing up and maturing and moving on in my life.”
Kristin Cavallari made her debut onto The Hills at the end of last season as she made a surprise entrance into Heidi and Spencer’s Wedding. Kristen then sat down next to Justin Bobby, Audrina’s on and off again boyfriend, and in the preview for next season, we see that there will be A LOT of drama between Kristin and Audrina. Get used to, sources say that Kristin Cavallari has signed on for 3 years. That gives her plenty of time to sleep with everyone’s boyfriend and ruin their lives. Perhaps this has influenced Audrina’s decision to leave.
The next project Audrina is working on is her own reality show with producer SLASH king and founder of reality TV, Mark Burnett. As you know, Burnett is the man behind shows like Survivor and The Apprentice. If she’s working with him, I think she’ll be in good hands, career-wise.
“I moved to Los Angeles to be an actress, and before I got onto The Hills, I was going to auditions and castings and working full-time at [film studios] Quixote Studios and Smashbox,” she explained to reporters. She’s credited The Hills with helping her be “comfortable in front of the cameras.”
Sorority Row premieres in theaters September 11th, while Audrina’s final season on the The Hills and the introduction of troublemaker Kristin Cavallari premieres on September 29th on MTV.
