On “The Hills“, Audrina Patridge was the sole brunette of the bunch. While Lauren, Heidi, Whitney, Stephanie, Lo and Kristen all sported their sun-kissed hair, Audrina showed off her sultry dark looks. She stood out in a sea of bleached blond girls. Now that her VH1 reality show “Audrina” has tanked, it seems like ceiling eyes wants to shake up her image and start anew.

During an in-store appearance at *gasp* Sears in Cerritos, California, Patridge debuted her new look. She was there to earn her keep as Bongo spokesperson. I’m not sure how I feel about her new choice in hair color, but it’s good to change it up every so often. Curious to see what Audrina looks like with lighter hair? Okay, so I exaggerated a bit. Drina didn’t go all the way blond, but instead went for the ultra-trendy ombré look. For those who don’t know what that means, it’s a term used to describe a hair color that is dark at the roots then fades to a lighter shade at the bottom. She definitely jumped on the bandwagon with this super popular hairstyle.

We all know that girls who spend a lot of time together, usually have their menstrual cycle at the same time. But who knew that extended to hair dye as well. As you can see, Audrina’s new hairstyle looks an awful like her former roommate Lauren Conrad’s hair. Is this pure coincidence on Patridge’s part or simply a form of flattery, or a case of “Single White Female“? You decide.
