At the end of October, Ashlee Simpson released a teaser for her new single “Bat For A Heart,” then kind of left us hanging for two and a half months. I’m guessing the delay might have had to do with everything going on in her sister’s life or all the stuff happening with her dad in the tabloids. Regardless, today, the full version of the video came out and we’ve got your first look below.

In the song, Simpson sings, “I’m outta my mind / Running towards danger / The lights on the street are blinding my way / I know you want it now, want it now, want it now / I know you want it now, want it now.” The chorus of the song goes like this: “I’m gonna bang bang, f*ck you up, twist you out inside of my head.”
