On June 14, 2017, Grenfell Tower, a 24-storey tower block of public housing flats in North Kensington, West London, England was severely damaged by fire, causing 79 casualties. It’s the deadliest fire in mainland Britain in more than 100 years.
Simon Cowell corralled a bunch of British artists, Celine Dion being the only non- UK vocalist, to lend their voice for a charity single, benefiting those affected by this tragedy. The likes of Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, Liam Payne and Jessie J to name a few deliver a passionate and emotional cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s iconic single, “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
