I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve listened to “Thank U, Next” since Ariana Grande surprised us with its release on Sunday. Let’s just say it’s massively on repeat. I honestly love the upbeat message of being grateful for past experiences, no matter how painful.
On Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the 25-year-old singer delivered the first live performance of her new track. Paying homage to one of her favorite films, The First Wives Club, Ari and her backup singers (and song co-writers) Victoria Monet and Tayla Parx, dressed in all-white outfits to deliver an exuberant performance.
Seriously, it was adorable. Even when she flubs up a couple times, she charmingly powers through. Love the chuckling. God I love this woman. Grande also performs “Breathin‘” on the episode. I’ll post that when Ellen’s team uploads it. In the meantime, check out “Thank U, Next” below.
