Paul Rudd Gets Supersized In New ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’ Trailer

Curious to why Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly weren’t in Avengers: Infinity War? Well, it’s because Ant-Man And The Wasp takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War.

Scott Lang (Rudd) tries to balance his home life as a father with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, when Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) present him with a new mission to bring to light secrets from their past, requiring him to team up with van Dyne as the new Wasp. Also returning for another round are Michael Pena, Walton Goggins, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Tip “T.I.” Harris, David Dastmalchian, Hannah John Kamen, Abby Ryder-Fortson and Randall Park.

Joining the franchise are Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne. The former steps in to play Janet Van Dyne, the wife of Hank Pym and mother of Hope Van Dyne, while the latter takes on the role of Dr. Bill Foster. In the comic books, Foster is also known as Black Goliath and possesses the same growing powers as the Ant-Man.

Ant-Man And The Wasp arrives July 6. Check out the fun new trailer below which features the classic rap track “It Takes Two” from Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock.
