Your motivation to do what you do is what will supersede any obstacle that present themselves. I had to continually remind myself today why I will complete what I started, why every rep counts, why shortcuts are the enemy. I'm still on a high for executing today's session to what I had planned. Even though I had no one else around me to tell me to finish, to keep correct form, to keep pushing when it was hard. I only needed to remind myself WHY I had started. 40mins of hill repeats(15) at the skillion, wearing 20kg vest + carrying 16kg torsion bar. + 100 reps of each exercise (with vest + bar) 1. Lunges 2. Thrusters 3. Hang Cleans 4. Supine Rows 5. Unilateral Supine Press (50each) 6. 10m Shuttles 7. Sit Ups 8. Push Ups 9. Step Ups 10. It's time to be consistent with treatment and manage my injury correctly. Even though every fibre in my body wishes to ignore the injury and continue to push through the pain. Lots of stress and anxiety around not being able to function correctly. But instead of punishing myself for something that's out my control. I'll focus on what I can control. My mind, attitude and wellbeing. I can simply focus on other elements in my life that will benefit with more development. So for now, my first treatment with @physio_sports_clinic went really well ?? great to receive some relief after dry needling and good old fashion elbow grease! ??? #Physiotherapist #SportsPhysio #Treatment #LowerBack #Spinal #EasternWesternMix #DryNeedling #DiscBulge #Rehab #IllComeBackStronger #2017willbeamazing

Life shouldn't be filled with obligations, rather driven by our passion. Yes the process to success can be long and arduous. That's why we need to surround ourselves with people who are passionate, driven and kind. Associate with people who know what they want and want others to discover their purpose as well. If you're consistently doubting yourself, perhaps assess the individuals who you spend the most time with. People can easily and sometimes unknowingly manifest their insecurities onto others. Preventing them to believe in their own potential. If you have no one in your life that inspires you or even shows genuine kindness than look at the option of making new friends. Life is too short to live at the mercy of other individuals problems. #Rise #Empower #Believe #LiveYourPassion #PlanPursueProsper #ItsNotHardToBeKind #Kindness #TreatOthersHowYouWantToBeTreated

Retraining my thought processes to simplify the world around me has been the key to my happiness. The world demands so much from us on a day by day basis, that it's difficult to strip it all back to the basics. To view ourselves and our lives in a positive light can sometimes feel unachievable when we're driven to never be satisfied. At times of weakness or when I feel overwhelmed I remind myself how grateful I am for the basics. That instead of worrying about what I can't do, I'm grateful for what I can. This simple change in outlook will have a cascading effect to your life and everyone around you. #FridayFeels #MentalHealth #Outlook #Grateful #BringItBackToBasics #PositiveVibes #EmpowerAll #ThoughtProcesses #HappyWeekend
