For the past decade, Anderson Cooper has rung in the new year with Kathy Griffin by his side. After Griffin’s controversial photoshoot featuring a bloody decapitated head resembling President Donald Trump, CNN parted ways with the 56-year-old comedian.
The silver fox has found a new date for NYE. It’s none other than his BFF Andy Cohen. Read their statements below.
“Andy is the life of the party wherever he goes, and what bigger party is there than New Year’s Eve?” Cooper stated enthusiastically in a statement. “It is going to be a blast!” Added Cohen: “I’ve been friends with Anderson for 25 years. We’ve traveled the world together and performed in 30-plus cities with AC2 and it’s all led to this one huge night!”
These two clearly love spending time together. From going on vacations to hitting the road for their AC2 – An Intimate Evening With Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen Tour, they’re inseparable. Luckily for viewers, they have great chemistry and aren’t a bore onscreen. Cohen has no problem spilling all the tea about his buddy. Fingers crossed the Watch What Happens Live host dishes more this NYE.
