Who likes math? If you do, then you’re going to love An Invisible Sign. The film stars Jessica Alba and Chris Messina and based on the book by Aimee Bender.
The story centers on Mona Gray (Alba), who as a young girl gives up everything important to her in life, except mathematics, to deal with her father’s health’s problems. Years later, Mona is kicked out of her house to gain life experience and is offered a job by her old elementary teacher to teach the subject, math at a local school. It begins rough but soon does her best to help her students contend with their own personal crises. She also meets the fellow science teacher and the two begin to fall in love.
I think the movie has a really interesting quality with the use of number images within the film. Do you think you’ll check it out?
