Amy Schumer is hardly the first person to parody Beyonce. James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel and others have paid homage to Queen B. Just last weekend, Saturday Night Live delivered an amusing “Melanianade” skit based on Bey’s “Sorry” track. Schumer’s latest spoof isn’t as polished as some of her past clips, but her tribute to “Formation” is nonetheless entertaining.
The 35-year-old comedian teamed up her Mother/Daughter co-star Goldie Hawn for the clip entitled “Get in Formation.” The duo lip sync and recreate some of the original video’s choreography in between takes, filming their upcoming movie.
Clearly Queen B and her hubby Jay-Z approve of the parody. The entire clip, which features Wanda Sykes, Joan Cusack, farm animals and a Chihuahua, is exclusively available on Tidal. You can check out a 30-second preview below.
