Tell Us How You Really Feel, Alex Pettyfer

Alex Pettyfer, star of I Am Number Four and Beastly, already has the reputation for being a jerk, and now some of the things he was recently quoted as saying in an interview with VMAN magazine just proves it even more.

“L.A. is growing on me a little bit but it’s still a sh*t hole. I think it’s this insidious pool where nearly everyone lives in fear. Geographically it’s fantastic, but socially it’s disgusting. I wish they’d run all the cunts out. I wish I had some interesting stories about living in L.A., but mostly I just do my work and then go home.”

The conceited 21 year old also joke that he has “Thank You” etched on his skin above his crotch. When he was asked why, he winked and responded, “In case I forget to say it.”

Well, at the very least he is polite to those he has sucking him off. I wonder if he got that before or after he was dating Glee’s Dianna Agron. He also used to date Emma Roberts, star of Scream 4 and even had her initials tattooed on his right wrist.

Seems like a very grateful lad. Pettyfer allegedly has a very bad temper and has been quite difficult to work with, according to the directors and producers he’s worked for already. One such producer had this to say about him: “Pick your words: ambitious, hungry, cocky, very ahead of himself. But if he delivers, he’ll be worth it.” Pettyfer created extreme tension on the I Am Number Four set and was difficult to deal with in negotiations.

He gets less hot with all of his bullsh*t. Would you still say “you’re welcome” to him? I think I already know the answer to that question.

Most of the coverage of this article is just wrong, especially the bloggers who don’t get that he was joking about having a tattoo on his pubic area that says “thank you” (It actually say ALEX in Kanji) or the ones who think he’s “bashing women” (re: Ted Casablancas) when he uses “the c word” when he’s just being British. Other than that, how is he wrong? And I love the people who ask how he dare say this kind of thing about the very people who “are making him rich.” The reason that he can say these things without worrying about it is that he was rich to begin with. Honestly is very hard for some people to deal with.

Also, I think you mean conceited, not conceded, but spelling, like critical thinking, is probably not your strong suit.

  • LOL – thanks Chris. The spelling has been corrected. And my bad, I didn’t realize that when you’re rich you can say whatever you want without worrying about it.

I can understand why he doesn’t like LA, as a fellow brit and like many other brits I don’t particulary like the lifestyle in LA.

Its a very different world to what we’re used to in the UK, not better or worse, just very different. I think more brits can relate better to New York. Though some do warm to LA.

On TV in the UK when a British star makes it big in hollywood (Keira Knightley, Clive Own, etc.) and then does the UK chatshow circuit they always get asked how life is in LA and though they come across a hell of lot more polite then Alex you can tell they don’t particularly like it.

However, regarding his attitude Alex is just a spoiled brat of a man-whore. For god sakes he went to The Mall School one of the poshest public schools (public means private in england) in the country (think up there with Eton) and I’ve met many guys from there with serious attitude problems.

I hope he wisens up and grows up as I am still enjoying his films otherwise he’s going to become known as the British Val Kilmer.

chris, you’re a dick. it’s Homorazzi: Where Homos judge everything, not dismiss jerks for being jerks just because they’re rich or from the UK. America comes with its own etiquette. Sorta like saying you’re a douche would be socially acceptable, like “cunt” in the UK.
so yeah, much love the writers of Homorazzi and Patrick for withholding more critical words. =)
