The CW still hasn’t announced a premiere date for Cycle 18 yet which gives me a few more weeks to update you on past “America’s Next Top Model” contestants. For the past two weeks I’ve focused on the reality show’s more recent cycles, Lauren Brie Harding (Cycle 11) and Katarzyna Dolinska (Cycle 10). This week, I decided to go further back in the ANTM vault to one of my favorite cycles.

Cycle 6 featured one of my favorite Final 2 models ever. I would’ve been happy with either a Danielle Evans or Joanie Todd win. In the end, the leggy Danielle, who goes by Dani these days, edged out former snaggletooth’d Joanie. This cycle also featured the love-to-hate bi-racial butterfly Jade Cole who came in third place. Other memorable wannabe models included Furonda, Nnenna and Mollie Sue. Even though she was one of the quieter girls, which is usually the kiss of death in Tyra’s universe, Alejandra “Leslie” Mancia was one of my favorites. This Latina-beauty should’ve lasted longer and made the overseas trip.

I decided to feature Leslie this week because she’s back on reality television. This Arizona-native is currently strutting her stuff as one of the featured models on “Project Runway: All Stars“. As of episode three, Mancia was Michael Costello’s assigned muse. This isn’t her first appearance on the fashion design competition. She first appeared on Project Runway Season 9’s finale when she walked in New York Fashion Week for eventual winner Anya Ayoung-Chee.

When Leslie competed on ANTM she was only 18-years-old. Since then, she’s slowly made a name for herself in the industry. Throughout her career so far, she’s been repped by Elite Model Management, NOUS Models and Ford Models. A few of her more notable modeling gigs include walking the runway for Zang Toi and Nicole Miller’s fashion shows. She’s also done numerous catalogue work including Neiman Marcus. Check out a few of Mancia’s stunning post-ANTM pics below. She’s definitely one spicy beauty.

Being one of the youngest on the cycle plus receiving an under-the-radar edit helped seal Leslie’s fate. Sure, the below picture wasn’t the best during that week, but she deserved to stay over Sara Albert and Brooke Staricha. The only thing that saved the latter was the gorgeous afro wig she sported during this shoot. Poor Leslie, another potential real model derailed by Tyra’s ulterior motives.

Do you remember Leslie from Cycle 6? Did you recognize her on this season of “Project Runway“. Who was your favorite from this cycle and who should be featured next week. Share all your thoughts below.
