Remember back in 2003 when Adrien Brody planted a big kiss on Halle Berry as he accepted his Best Actor Oscar for The Pianist? What a difference a decade makes. The 39-year-old actor is now making out with a Frenchman in a new music video. Sorta funny that both Berry, who’s dating French film actor Oliver Martinez , and Brody are locking lips with Parisians. Viva la France.

French singer PacoVolume invited Brody to appear in his “Olaf & Paul” music video. Directed by Jack-Antoine Charlot, the clip tells a story between two men from worlds apart who share an uncontrollable love. It starts off flirty and romantic before ending in tragedy. Dum dum dum duuuum.

Though the video is almost five minutes long, the actual song only takes a bit over three minutes. The last two lists off credits and a few odd and peculiar thanks. I’m not sure why the likes of Keira Knightley, George Clooney, Rachel Weisz among others were given a shout-out. Watch the clip below and see if you can decipher PacoVolume’s random thought process.
