Adele Unleashes ‘Skyfall’ Lyric Video

Even before I heard a single note of Adele’s Jame Bond song, I knew it was going to be epic. Thankfully, the “Rumor Has It” singer doesn’t disappoint. Adele’s soulful vocals mixed with the grand accompaniment (a 77-piece orchestra to be exact) combine to make one of the best James Bond anthems ever. Depending on how it fares on the charts, “Skyfall” could go down in history as one of the greatest theme songs from a Bond movie. It’s modern yet has the feel of a timeless Bond classic like “Diamonds Are Forever” by Shirley Bassey.

Originally titled, “Let The Sky Fall“, the track was supposed to premiere at 0:07am (get it?) London time, but was leaked early, as so happens these days. The 24-year-old singer once again worked with frequent collaborator Paul Epworth. The two worked on the gigantic hit, “Rolling In The Deep.” I can’t wait for Adele to release the music video. No doubt she’ll look glamorous and mysterious in it. Until it premieres, the lyric video will have to do. Check it out below.

Hmm I’m actually not a big fan of the number…..Personally I think Emeli Sande would have been a much better choice for the bond song. I however understand why many people would like it though. It’s still a decent track.
